Protection of the Mother of God (Pokrov)
The Feast of the Protection of the Holy Mother of God, although not one of the great feasts, is one of the most revered feasts of the Russian Church. There is not a single diocese that does not have at least one church dedicated to the Protection, and in Australia there are even two (in Melbourne and Sydney).
On Wednesday 8 October at 6 pm in the parish library, Father Yaroslav will hold the Bible study class.
The next services in our church will be on:
Saturday 11 October at 6:00 pm: vigil.
Sunday 12 October at 8:30 am: Liturgy.
Monday 13 October at 6:00 pm: vigil.
