Russian Orthodox school
Classes
For Russian speakers and non-speakers
On Saturdays, the children attend the parish school.

Students study the Law of God, the Russian language, history and geography of Russia, and elements of Russian culture.

The school is part of the Victoria Deanery Russian School, accredited by the State of Victoria. The school's principal is Archpriest Miсhaеl Protopopov, and the Geelong campus director is our rector, Archpriest Yaroslav Belikow.

Now we are beginning the school year.
On Sunday 1 February at the end of liturgy we are having a moleben for the beginning of the school year. Please attend the moleben and write the name of your children at the candle desk.
The first day of school will be on the 21 February. The parents are asked to stay for an orientation at 9 am. This is very important to meet the parents, introduce the teachers and have a clear understanding of the mutual expectations of school and the students' families.
This year in Russian school we are adding one more period, and we will have four classes each Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm; please provide a light lunch for the children they will enjoy on the second recess. The children will have a new class in Russian folk dances and music.
Except those Saturdays, when we have Liturgy according to the Church calendar. On those Saturdays we will have only two classes from 10:30 am to 12 pm.
We still encourage you and your children to come to Liturgy, then the students will go to School.

For more information about the school's activities, please contact Father Yaroslav directly.
